Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond 4/3/22 - NASCAR Picks & Predictions
Defending champion Alex Bowman and the NASCAR Cup Series will travel to Richmond, Virginia for the Toyota Owners 400 on Sunday for a scheduled green flag drop of 3:30 PM eastern barring weather. This race will be available on the Fox network.
The Toyota Owners 400 marks the 131st Cup race hosted by Richmond Raceway in the series’ history. The .75-mile oval located in Henrico County, Virginia has an asphalt racing surface with 14 degrees of banking in turns 1-4. With 8 degrees on the front stretch and 2 degrees on the backstretch, this track is similar to an intermediate track, but races like a short track.
Currently standing in second place, Ryan Blaney would be a driver to watch out for however, his career on short tracks especially Richmond has not been up to par. In over seven races, Ryan has failed to crack the top 15 on every occasion even though his starting position is normally mid to high pack.
Current NASCAR cup standings leader Chase Elliott has also not fared well at Richmond international speedway with an average finish of 9.80. In a total of five races at Richmond in his career, Elliot has only let a total of 60 laps.

Joey Logano driving the number 22 Ford, happens to enjoy Richmond raceway more than any other track in NASCAR. In five total races, Joey Logano has an average finish of 4.80, with a total of four top five finishes leading a total of 136 laps.
