Steiermark Grand Prix – 2020 F1 Betting Odds, Picks & Predictions

Following a pulsating Austrian Grand Prix, the next race of the 2020 Formula One season will take place at the Red Bull Ring for the second Sunday in a row. As we can’t have two Austrian Grand Prix in one year, the Steiermark Grand Prix is named after the region in which the track is located.

Considering that we have just seen a full Grand Prix on this track, things should be a little easier to predict this time around.

Despite finishing fourth last weekend, defending champion Lewis Hamilton (-115) comes into the race as the overriding favorite. After clinching first place last time out, the bookies have dropped Valtteri Bottas’ odds from +600 to +200 this week, making the Mercedes man the second favorite.

Charles Leclerc (+4000) and Lando Norris (+6600) finished second and third respectively last weekend, but it’s difficult to see them pushing for the win on Sunday. Max Verstappen (+300) is the bookies’ third favorite this week, although the Red Bull prodigy failed to finish the previous race.

It goes without saying that Mercedes should be the fastest team again this weekend. Red Bull showed glimpses of promise last time out. But with Verstappen recording a DNF and teammate Alex Albon finishing all the way down in thirteenth place, Hamilton and Bottas will fancy their chances of dominating once again.
