The South Point 400 is holding the 3rd race under the name. However, for a lot of fans they will always view this as another race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, which is very true since the track is in Vegas and the only thing that has changed is the name of the race lately. Since the race is new in name, their have only been 2 drivers who have won the race so far.
Martin Truex Jr. is one driver who definitely knows how to handle the race track. He is one of the winners of the race as the South Point 400. However, he will have some challenges as he has not been racing at the top of his game lately and that will definitely make it harder for him to win the race here.
Denny Hamlin is one driver that has ended up doing really well in the race. Hamlin is one driver that has quite a good run going and could potentially come into the race here as a favorite, but even with his extensive experience getting his car properly balanced for the summer heat that is going to be in between transition phases in Vegas.
