The O’Reilly Auto Parts 253 takes place this weekend. It does come as the 7th road race for the NASCAR race. However, it is the first road course on the year for the circuit. It will eventually be the 7th road race of the year, but it will be the second one on the year for the Daytona circuit. So who is going to win the race this year?
Denny Hamlin is one driver that has always driven strong on the road circuit. However, he is also coming in with a car that has been balanced really well in the past. The downside if Hamlin did not have a very strong car last week at the regular circuit for the Daytona 500 and some of that stems down to the way his pit crew can come in here.
Kevin Harvick has quite a bit of experience in a wide range of courses. Look for Harvick to run good in the race here, but the fact that Harvick is an older veteran can impact his driving ability. Look for that to be why Harvick does not pull out the win here as he is unable to make up the difference in the restarts as his reflexes are not up to where they should be.
