All the talk about NASCAR this week will cover Ryan Newman and the safety of the vehicles which is understandable after the horrific crash that ended the Daytona 500. However, the racing season must go on and that is why the Pennzoil 400 is here as Las Vegas Motor Speedway. One driver who is happy to see the Las Vegas Motor Speedway is Jimmie Johnson who has the most wins at the track on the NASCAR circuit with 4 wins.
One part of the race that is interesting is the dominance the Ford cars have shown in the past. Ford has won 3 out of the past 4 races including the last 2 races. Look for that type of manufacturer dominance to continue in this game here as Ford really has the track tuned in. Now, as for the driver he will come from either Team Penske or Stewart-Haas Racing who have won a combined 4 out of the last 5 races.
