The Geico 500 takes place at Talladega in this race here. However, the race is one that has a clear front runner this year in Denny Hamlin who has raced really well on the year overall. However, the race is one that is going to be a great race here between some of the top drivers in NASCAR.
Denny Hamlin is the front runner and it is easy to see why by looking at the performance Hamlin has had recently. Look for Hamlin to have an almost repeat type of performance in the race here as Hamlin led most of the race last week only to lose the race in the last 10 laps of the race.
Joey Logano is the driver that is coming in as the second favorite in the race. However, Logano is a driver that has had some issues on the year. In the race here Logano is coming in driving good, but will end up falling off again in this race as he always seems to be the perennial bridesmaid as the saying goes.
