NASCAR makes it to Atlanta for the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500. Now, the race is being held in Atlanta, a town that has spring weather that could be scorching hot to almost freezing cold by NASCAR standards and without practice runs it could play a pivotal role in who wins the race and how the cars handle. So who are the drivers to keep an eye out for at the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500?
Kevin Harvick is coming in as the heavy favorite in the race. It is easy to see why with Harvick winning 2 out of the last 3 Folds of Honor 500’s. However, Harvick is not the same driver he has been in the past and actually has faded quite a bit on the year and in some of the races has had some serious handling issues that Harvick has to avoid to be considered a winner here.
Denny Hamlin is another driver to keep an eye out for here. Hamlin has done good in his races on the year with 4 top 5 finishes already on the year. However, Hamlin is a driver that will definitely have some issues here to pull out the win. Hamlin just does not seem to have the car that is able to close out the race, but look for Hamlin to be in the hunt in this race as well.
