Granted, the Daytona 500 has become a lot of the same type of race with the motor restrictions it is still a race that have been in place. It has been 20 years since Dale Jarrett would win the Daytona 500 from the pole. That does not bode well for Ricky Stenhouse Jr. The odds on favorites include last years winner in Denny Hamlin and most drivers do not win back to back races. The guy who has the crew in Joe Gibbs racing and has quite a bit of skill coming into the race that looks good is Martin Truex Jr. who has finished in a very close second just a few years ago, but should pull out the win in this race.
