The shortest race of the year takes place this weekend and it will be a great battle. However, Martinsville is a great racetrack and one that a lot of fans are going to enjoy. The best part is unlike Bristol the race will be on the regular track and tends to give a little bit more in the way of speed.
Martin Truex Jr. is the favorite and it is easy to see why after winning the race last year. However, Truex has not really had Lady Luck on his side this year and that will definitely make it a challenge for Truex to win this race and not to mention the pit crew has done good, but the race has just went away from Truex as it goes along.
Joey Logano came in second at the race last year. However, it will definitely be a great race for Logano here as he proved that he is able to run good on the short tracks. Now, one other problem that Logano may have is the fact that he has been unable to finish out the races on the year.
