Charlotte Motor Speedway plays host to the next stop in the cup race here. However, the race this year is one that will feature a strong group of drivers. Some of the past winners in the race are racing here and definitely are some of the best drivers with a good chance of winning the race here without the practices or proper prep work for the race.
Chase Elliott is coming to the race here with the chance to win the race again. He did end up winning the race last year. The good news is Elliott should be able to look back on the film from last year and the way the crew handled the track to help them in getting the prep work done. Look for Elliott to come into the race here racing really well, but he has a good chance of winning, but will not be able to do as well as what he expects.
Martin Truex Jr. is another past winner in the race here. However, Truex has not been driving that well this year and when he does have a good run it seems that his pit crew has done something to cost him quite a bit of the way that he has driven and leads to him falling back in the pack.
