The Auto Club 400 is going to have a great race here. The race track is a fast one and one that has a lot of contenders that could potentially win the race. The heavy favorite is Kevin Harvick, but Harvick has had issues in the pits in the recent races and that has cost Harvick in getting the wins locked down. Even on the tracks that Harvick was slated to win, which I feel will definitely knock Harvick out of contention in this race.
Now, you also have some other names crowding the top of the list when it comes to the Auto Club 400 here. The big names like Busch and Logano are great names to follow. At the same time, though, there are quite a few drivers in the middle of the pack that have come close and only made several slight mistakes or pitted at the wrong time which cost them the races.

One driver that really stands out for me in the race is Ricky Stenhouse Jr. He is one that had the pole for the Daytona 500, but also raced really well at Vegas. The other dark horse that will head to a top finish is Jimmie Johnson who is starting to look like the Johnson of old. Look for Jimmie Johnson to actually pull out the win in this race.
