Minnesota Vikings at Cincinnati Bengals 12/22/13 - Free NFL Picks, Odds, & Predictions
NFL: 1:00 PM EST December 22, 2013 TV: FOX
On Sunday, December 22, 2013, the Minnesota Vikings will stroll into Paul Brown Stadium to take on the Cleveland Browns. The Vikings are currently 4-9, and they are coming off of an impressive win over the Philadelphia Eagles. The team has endured a very tough season, including the loss of star running back, Adrian Peterson, who is out with a foot injury.
The team has continued to play hard, despite their inability to win a number of close games. In their most recent game they simply shredded the defense of the Eagles. Quarterback, Matt Cassel, threw for 401 yards and three touchdowns and running back, Matt Asiata, rushed for three touchdowns. Eagles quarterback, Nick Foles, remained hot – throwing for 428 yards and three touchdowns. Unfortunately, the 30 points that the Eagles were able to put up wasn’t nearly enough to eclipse the 48 points scored by the Vikings.
The Bengals are currently 9-4, but they are coming off of a loss against their division rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers. This was a game of halves. The Steelers jumped out fast and hard, taking a 27-7 lead into the halftime break. The Bengals would settle things down in the second half, holding the Steelers to three points, but they would not be able to score enough points to overcome their first half deficit. They would end up losing 30-20.

Not sure how or why the Vikings are playing so well the last few games but Minnesota is playing like they have something to prove. On the other side Bengals are coming off worst game in month and now the must win nature might just make Cincinnati play tight. Cincinnati pulls out close win but it's less than a Touchdown. Final Score Prediction, Cincinnati Bengals win 27-21, but Vikings make it 5 straight covers.
