Free MLB Baseball Picks For June 26, 2012
We have all 30 Major League baseball Teams in action today and a lot of games which look to be competitive which from a fan’s perspective is great, from a betting perspective, not so great. Either way with 15 games I still find a few best bets which I posted as Premium Picks and I still can find a few free picks as well. Of course after you grab your free pick be sure and check out what the rest of our expert sports handicappers have to say about today’s games.
Chicago White Sox -115 vs. Minnesota Twins 8:10 PM EST
Gavin Floyd is a tough guy to figure out sometimes; just when I am ready to write him off he comes up with the big game and I look for him to do it here as the White Sox look to bounce back from a disappointing loss to the suddenly streaking Minnesota Twins. Liam Hendricks gets the ball for the Twins and he has been shelled like a peanut all season and he hasn’t won a game. Minnesota has owned the White Sox over the years but if Chicago was ever in a spot where they should put up a big number this would be it.
Pittsburgh Pirates +130 vs. Philadelphia Phillies 7:05 PM EST
This is one of those spots where we have a pitcher in Worley for the Phillies who has a solid ERA in his last three but no wins to show for it, kind of a theme for the Philadelphia rotation this year. The Pirates on the other hand don’t always make it look pretty but they are winning plenty of ballgames. The Pirates have shown time and time again that they aren’t intimidated by the Phillies and look for them to gut out a win here.
The Giants are making the move on the Dodgers in the West and despite how well the Dodgers have played for the bulk of the first half of the season the Giants passing them just seems inevitable at this point. Clayton Kershaw has all of the right stuff but at the same time it all seems to always fall right into place for Ryan Vogelsong who is just stringing together wins and I look for him to get another one here against a deflated Dodger team.
