Free MLB Baseball Picks For June 20, 2012
Yesterday I called that the Yankees winning streak would come to an end but to be honest, the past two days I haven’t been on top of my game as the Indians late inning heroics went against me. Today I have several Premium Picks and or course our Expert Handicappers have plenty of picks as well so be sure to check them out as well. Of course check here every day for my free picks that I will be giving out in a variety of sports all year long and once you grab your free pick, check out our Expert Predictions as we will be running plenty of specials coming into the fall.
Washington Nationals -200 vs. Tampa Bay Rays 7:05 PM EST
We haven’t seen Stephen Strasburg in my free picks too often this season as we have been getting decent enough odds on him that he has been in my Premium Picks but today the odds are way outside of my comfort zone and laying run line with the Nationals is never a good option. The Rays seem to always come up with a good young pitcher and while Archer’s numbers in the Minors this season haven’t been much to write home about they must see something in him to bring him up for his first Major League action, or they are just sending this one in. Either way I love the Nationals.
Cincinnati Reds +115 vs. Cleveland Indians 7:05 PM EST
Well the Reds just hurt me last night as they had the game won after scoring in the 10th inning despite base running blunders and blown chances but then in the bottom half of the inning Aroldis Chapman never looked comfortable and Asdrubal Cabrera took him deep for a two run shot for the walk off win. The Reds swept the first part of this series in Cincinnati and they are in danger of being swept here but look for them to get the win tonight.
Miami Marlins +135 vs. Boston Red Sox 7:10 PM EST
The Marlins have cooled off considerably but this is one of those games where the odds are so skewed they are just impossible for me to pass up. I wouldn’t call this one a best bet or a must play by any stretch but I would say that if you feel like taking a punt with some nice odds, this is one of the spots to think about doing it today.
St. Louis Cardinals vs. Detroit Tigers Over 10 7:05 PM EST
I expect to see a lot of runs in this one but one thing is for certain when it comes to the Tigers, no one on their pitching staff can be counted on except for Verlander and even he has taken some tough losses. Rick Porcello isn’t when I want to have my money these days and Jake Westbrook isn’t really either. Both of these teams have trouble beating decent teams and last night when it was Lynn and Verlander we saw nine runs, no reason they can’t take it a few better here.
