Florida Gators at UCONN Huskies 12/2/13 - Free College Basketball Picks, Odds, & Predictions
CBB: 7:00 PM EST December 2, 2013 TV: ESPN2
An early season matchup between two ranked teams is going to draw a lot of attention. The good news is the Gators basketball team is not following in the footsteps of the football team and is actually doing really well on the season. In their last outing the Gators barely beat in state rival Florida State. Florida relied on 8 players in the game against the Seminoles and had Casey Prather and Michael Frazier II to reach the double digits for the scoring. When shots were missed the Gators relied on Dorian Finney-Smith to grab the boards as he pulled in 10 offensive boards.
UConn is coming back to the court after a long Thanksgiving break and a walk through the country win over Loyola. In the game against Loyola the Huskies managed to put up 76 points and allowed only 66 points on the day. The Huskies are relying on a lot of the same players for the scoring as the Huskies had 10 players in the game, but off of the bench 3 of the players had no points at all and one of them did not even grab a board. So the Huskies need to improve on the production from the entire team, instead of just the main two players.

Should be great game on Monday night and think we might see upset as a very good Florida team gives UCONN everything they can handle. Biggest problem for UCONN has been rebounding, in two toughest games Huskies were out rebounded in both. Gators get great win in Storres on Monday night as they push around a soft UCONN team. Final Score Prediction, Florida Gators win outright 72-69.
